It seems that in the last year I have attended an event, almost, on a weekly basis. In the business of real estate and owning a small renovation-design business, it is extremely important to meet people. Anyone could be a potential lead and new contacts can become great work partners!

This year I planned to host a women’s holiday event at our newest renovation property. It would give the women in my sphere a chance to get a peak at our new project before completion and a fun night out during the holidays!

“Construction Chic” became the impromptu theme for the night as the house was not completely done! But people came in their holiday best and chandeliers were hung! Women from all sorts of industries; teachers, realtors, marketing, dental assistants, insurance agents, stay at home mommas…!

The unfinished, plywood floors combined with the new quartz countertops and crystal chandeliers gave the party ambience and character. The guests were able to come see the direction that I am going with the design and the feedback was wonderful! I love seeing peoples reactions to my projects, it gives me a good idea on how popular the house will be when it is put back on the market.

Champagne, Christmas music and great people made for a wonderful event! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
