Half baths are one of the easiest projects to tackle in a home. They are small and require minimal decor. That being said, ours sat unfinished for sooo long after we had our daughter that I contemplated leaving it! The toilet functioned and we were good! The whole room was done in a hideous wallpaper so I finally broke down and knocked it out.
1/2 baths can be a fun area to go a little wild with design but for this one I wanted to keep it classic. It is right off the main area of the home and easily visible from the kitchen and main hallways. I was having major designers block with the new wallpaper that contributed to the drawn out process of this project but I finally found a simple black stripe from Chesapeake Wallpapers that I loved and fit with the color scheme of the rest of the home.
The wall in the space has an odd angle so rather than having a new custom cabinet made we chose to keep the existing one and refinish it in a black enamel. New Hanstone quartz countertops, a luxe gold Brizo Litze wall mount faucet and vessel sink wrapped finished off the space! (oh, and a new toilet!)
